How do I take care of The Treasury Department jewelry?

Each meticulously hand painted and crafted piece is inspected to ensure it’s fit for wear. Since machines don’t paint or assemble each piece, you can be sure that your your piece is truly delicate and unique – a benefit and added value that things hand-made bring.

When delivered by mail, your piece is enclosed in a black organza pouch within a bubble mailer. Keep your piece in the organza bag provided in a dark, cool place and wipe the piece with a soft dry cloth for cleaning after use. 

 

Free shipping? Really?

Shipping to Canada and the United States is free! As a thank-you for purchasing from The Treasury Department, your order comes with insured, tracked shipping using Canada Post in return! Items will take between 6-7 business days from the day you receive our shipping notification.

 

What is your return or exchange policy?

If your item is defective upon receipt, you have 14 days from our shipping notification date to opt for a refund, exchange or credit. 

If you do receive a package with a damaged item take a photo of both the damaged item and the damaged packaging it came in. This is necessary to make the insurance claim and email it to returns@thetreasurydepartment.com with the subject line: Damaged Item (Order #).

To send your item back to The Treasury Department, use the return label provided in your package. Refunds can take 5-7 days to process once the returned item is received.

We are not responsible for lost return packages, and recommend you insure and track your packages. While we provide you with a return label, you're welcome to use the shipping method of your choice. Please address all returns to:
